Microbes strike back!
The novelcoronavirus, now known as Covid19, is the latest in a long line of microbes fighting back against efforts by humans to erradicate them.
Viruses are the smallest of all microbes. They are so small that 500 million rhinoviruses (which cause the common cold) could fit on the head of a pin. They are unique because they are only alive and able to multiply inside the cells of other living things. In New South Wales, 1668 potential Covid19 cases are being investigated while more than 18,700 people have been tested and cleared.
Viral diseases cause a third of the world's deaths every year. Worldwide there have been 150,000 confirmed cases of Covid19 infections and 5,800 deaths.
A top US legal expert, Dr. Francis Boyle, who drafted the Biological Weapons Act has acknowledged that the Novel Coronavirus is a Biological Warfare Weapon.
Dr.Boyle is a professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law. He drafted the U.S. domestic implementing legislation for the Biological Weapons Convention, known as the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, that was approved by both Houses of the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President George H.W. Bush.
Dr. Boyle said the viru escaped from a secure laboratory in Wuhan, He believes the virus is potentially lethal and an offensive biological warfare weapon, which is why the Chinese government originally tried to cover it up and is now taking drastic measures to contain it.
The Wuhan BSL-4 lab is a specially designated World Health Organisation research lab
Chinese Biowarfare agents working at the Canadian lab in Winnipeg were involved in taking the Coronavirus to Wuhan’s lab from where it is believed to have been leaked.
Dr. Boyle’s claims stark contrast to the mainstream views that the virus originated in the Wuhan seafood market.
The Wuhan National Biosafety Level 4 lab is the only laboratory in China which meets the required biosafety standards needed to study the new disease.
The lab is in the center of Wuhan, within the Chinese Academy of Sciences and was specifically designed to help Chinese scientists prepare for future infectious disease outbreaks. according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that infect a wide range of different species including humans, cattle, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats and wild animals. Until this new coronavirus was identified, there were six different coronaviruses known to infect humans. Four of these cause a mild common cold-type illness, but since 2002 there have been two new coronaviruses that can infect humans and result in more severe disease (Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) Coronaviruses are known to be able to occasionally jump from one species to another and that is what happened in the case of SARS, MERS and the new coronavirus.
