Ban Australia from hosting international events
Government action in twice cancelling the visa of Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic demonstrates that Australia is not a place to hold international events. All international sporting bodies should remove Australia from consideration as a host for any event. The Government has demonstrated a lack of integrity and fair dealing over its visa process, which sends a warning to anyone wanting to enter the country.
Not just tennis, the actions of the Government should cause serious repercussion from the International Olympic Committee, Commonwealth Games, Formula One, MotoGP, Rugby, swimming and cricket bodies.
