Police corruption in Victoria

Police corruption has reached new heights in Victoria. A man who spent 22 years in jail for killing two police officers has been released after a retrial found he was not guilty because evidence had been fabricated to obtain the initial conviction. The conviction for the murders of Sergeant Gary Silk and Senior Constable Rodney Miller was overturned because of the “reprehensible” conduct of investigating officers.
