Virus pandemic rampant in Australia
Australia’s
Federal Government has managed to esacape much of the blame for the
spread of the Covid19 virus in the country – managing to pass the
blame onto State jurisdictions. But bungles by Federal and State
Governments are responsible for the extent of the Covid19 problems in
Australia. There were an additional 502 cases yesterday, mostly in the State of Victoria where health officials revealed they did not know that nursing home staff worked in various facilities and often travelled between them - the same as many abbattoir workers which resulted in widsespread transmissions.. Active quarantine procedures in the early days of the
pandemic would have prevented the virus from reaching Australia.
Instead of quarantining passengers immediately on arrival, many were
allowed to wander around the country on their way to ‘self-isolation’
The virus was spread on public transport, in shops and hotels before
politicians realised the scale of the potential threat. Cruise ship
passengers were allowed in- even a group of religious fanatics
gathering for a convention was welcomed by the Prime Minister.
Slow
decision-making and confusing messages are a hallmark of our
political leaders.
The resultant
economic woes are an indictment of government action and inaction and
we are all saddeled with as huge financial debt which will likely be
with us for generations.
