Government propaganda about Covid vaccinations spread by mainstream media

 

The confused approach to vaccine efficacy is causing concern in the community. If vaccines work as well as claimed, Why are unvaccinated citizens reviled and ridiculed by the Government? It is unvaccinated people who are at risk of infection from vaccinated people carrying the virus. Governments have been spreading misinformation about the efficacy of Covid vaccines and  the mass media has willingly promoted the propaganda, assisting Government plans to control their communities by spreading fear and panic ehenever possible. Their conduct has been deceptive because they have aware that the vaccines are not  silver bullets against the virus.

My wife and I live on an 80 hectare farm at Grantville and we currently have zero risk of contracting Covid or infecting anyone else. As we are effectively isolated on the farm and have no contact with others, it seems absurd that the Victorian Government seems to expect us to put ourselves at risk of infection by attending a vaccination clinic.

The Government has maintained  a scare campaign in an effort to control the public.In the past I have suffered a stroke and Atrial Fibrilation. Vague assertions  by medical bureaucrats do little to suport the concept of vaccine safety. I am no risk to anyone so why should be forced to leave my property to get a spurious vaccine.


In keeping with Premier Daniel Andrews' control fetish it seems likely that the Victorian Government will try to sping an early vote on the new emergency bill in an effort to prevent  sacked Labor upper house memberAdem Somyurek from voting to defeat the Bill. Victoria does not need special pandemic legislation. Emergency powers already exist. The Government has long been able a declare a State of Emergency.We have a Minister and a full Emergency Department as well as an Emergency Management Commission with a highly paid Commisioner. There is no justification for another level of laws and bureaucracy. This is a textbook exercise in population control, direct from a totalitarian playbook.In the US, theCenter for Disease Control and Prevention has revealed that it no longer considers that ‘herd immunity’ is a realistic goal for COVID-19. This means that the health agency no longer believes that the disease will functionally disappear in the face of high vaccination rates.

Bass Coast Councillors should be personally liable for their mistaken decision

  Bass Coast Shire councillors should be held personally liable for any costs resulting from their decision to reject an application by Heidelberg Materials to widen Stanley Road, Grantville, It seem likely that ratepayers will face a huge bill to defend Councillors’ decision at VCAT. The road widening has long been a requirement of the planning permit previously issued by the Shire and was approved by Shire planning staff as well as DEECA. Rather than make ratepayers foot the bill, councillors who refused the planning application should be personally liable. All councillors other than Jan Thompson, who had the sense to vote for the application should pay every cent.
